About AK Automotive

AK Automotive was established in 1999 by former Saab Master Technician Tony Kitchen, initially providing technical training services for vehicle manufacturers.

Over the years, Tony has expanded the business and also prepares and delivers bespoke on-site training courses for a wide range of motor industry customers in the independent and non OEM aftermarket.

Tony has a passion for anything technical, especially vehicle electrics. He is a classic scooter and car enthusiast, as well as embracing modern electric and hybrid vehicle high voltage system technologies.

Tony keeps up to date with modern vehicle electrical systems technologies through on-going hands-on-vehicle research and personal development.

This also involves attending relevant CPD training and update courses as well as carrying out on-site research and technical support at customers’ premises.

Tony is also a PHEV owner / driver and holds the IMI Level 4 qualification in the Diagnosis, Testing & Repair of Electric / Hybrid Vehicles and Components (VRQ). He offers a two day technical training course in Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Systems

“I believe everybody has the ability to succeed given the right opportunities. My aim is to help fellow motor industry professionals achieve their full potential through the sharing of knowledge and expertise on my own training courses”.

With a premium brand technical background and a lifetime’s motor industry experience, Tony Kitchen (AK Automotive) understands your business technical training needs exactly.
